ABOUT THE MINISTRY

 

Researchers have found that the rate of divorce in the U.S. actually peaked at about 40% around 1980 and has been declining ever since.  Although the divorce rate is lowering every year, it is not because family relationships are improving – it’s because fewer couples are marrying.”

That is why this marriage ministry is of great importance -- to re-establish and provide tools needed to form a cohesion of oneness with Christ, as the center of the relationship, thus enhancing the marriage and family.

The Married Mates Ministry, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) Non-profit “faith-based mentor-ship ministry”, located in Baltimore, Md., is designed to provide a solution to aid in today’s martial relationships crisis.

 

Whereby, we provide each couple with a safe haven, wherein they can freely discuss their needs and concerns.  All sessions are facilitated by couples whose purpose is to ensure that each side is heard unconditionally and understood, giving the assurance that all manner of conversation remains confidential.

●  Genesis 2:24 — “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his        wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

●  Ephesians 5:21-23 — Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit            yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even

    as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the Savior of the body.

We minister through workshops, individual and group sessions, and we provide an event that gives couples the opportunity to step out and fellowship in a relaxing atmosphere that will enrich their relationship — we also encourage couples to incorporate, as often as possible, a date night — just the two of them.
