OBJECTIVE OF MINISTRY

 

The objective of the ministry is to meet the emotional and spiritual concerns of married, engaged, and those couples contemplating marriage with per-martial and post martial mentorship.

​

•  To married couple our goal is to show them how to cultivate the marriage into an environment that is mandated by God, to mimic and duplicate the scriptures holistically according to the Word of God — so that their marriage may be a demonstration of a faith based marriage — that through the generations to come that their marriage and family will continue to flourish as a beckon light.

 

•  To engaged couple our purpose is to give them insight into seeking longevity in a well-rounded marriage, that is developed through — trust — communication — intimacy — in which all are essential as the foundational core to a positive marriage.

We, also instruct them on how to strive to divert and alleviate those small issues that can arise in a marriage, and to focus on the positive of those things that will enhance the relationship.  Exhorting them to refrain from being entangled in the small things that bring dissection in the relationship. More often than not we share this fact, “don’t sweat the small stuff because the small stuff don’t matter”, and they ought to deal with them while they are small.

•  To couples contemplating marriage we exhort them to keep God first in spite of  everything that’s going on around them — by relaying to them that this journey of marriage is not about individuality, but it’s about “unity”; as the two strive to gain a mutual and agreeable understanding of their spousal roles as husband and wife; wherein the two press earnestly towards  becoming one — unified — in the eyes of God.
